Along the Garden Path tour in Newmarket

The ‘Along the Garden Path’ garden tour in the Newmarket area north of Toronto is organized by  the Lake Simcoe South Master Gardeners. The garden tour highlights 12 unique private homes in the Newmarket area as well as the Sharon Temple (free admission with $10 tour ticket) and the Community Gardens of Newmarket. Tickets are limited and advanced purchase recommended. Tickets available from Flowers with Prestige, 245 Main St. North, Newmarket, Holland Valley Nursery, Holland Landing, or Madsens Greenhouse, 160 Bayview Parkway, Newmarket. Niagara Foundation House Tour

In its 47th year, the Niagara Foundation’s Annual House Tour showcases the finest heritage homes and sites in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Each of the seven homes showcases is of unique architectural or historical significance. Closer to the date, full details of the homes on the tour are added to the Chamber of Commerce website. Many of the houses are surrounded by well-tended gardens and natural settings. Tour runs from 10 am to 5 pm on September 18, 2010. Tickets, for $25 each,  may be purchased by clicking here

Fall home show

The theme is “Renovate Your Life” for the Fall Home Show in Toronto.
